Meet Jignesh D. Patel, affectionately known as the "Tiger Whisperer", his lifelong fascination with reptiles ignited his passion for the wild world from a tender age.

 

Jignesh's journey led him to the mesmerizing forest of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in 2012. When he took the role of a naturalist, for the following 8 years he engrossed himself in learning about the ecosystem and forging a deep connection with its inhabitants.

 

In a remarkable feat, Jignesh unveiled his first literary masterpiece "Tigers of Tadoba, a Field Guide". This book wasn't just a collection of facts, it was but a tribute to the regal Tigers of Tadoba. It featured majestic creatures, revealed their ancestry, and narrated their amazing stories. But he didn't stop there, the book was an immersive journey through the reserve, driving through the park's flora and fauna and its rich history.

 

After over a decade of intimate acquaintance with the Tigers in Tadoba, Jignesh embarked on a new chapter. He authored the second volume of his book, this time capturing the latest additions to the tiger families. His passion and dedication illuminate every page, offering the readers a treasure trove of uncommon insights into the lives of these magnificent creatures.

 

Today, Jignesh is the driving force behind Hiss and Croak, a venture that beckons nature enthusiasts to explore the enchanting forest he knows so well. With more than 13 years of experience under his belt, Jignesh isn't just renowned as the tiger whisperer, but he also continues to inspire, educate, and connect people to the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world.

Meet Mahek AB Vyas, a soul who spent her early years amidst the bustling concrete jungles of Mumbai. As a young adult, she dedicated herself to collaborating with NGOs as an animal activist for an extended period of time all while studying Psychology, but fate had a different plan for her.

 

In the year 2019, Mahek embarked on a journey that would forever alter the course of her life. It was during her very first wildlife Safari that she felt an undeniable connection with the wilderness, the world she had just discovered was not just a destination anymore, it was her true home. Over the next few years, Mahek passionately learned about wildlife and, reptiles made a special place in her heart. In a remarkable turn of events, she is now the Co-Owner of Hiss and Croak a haven for those who crave an immersive encounter with nature.

 

As a young naturalist with wisdom beyond her years, Mahek has played a pivotal role in welcoming numeral enthusiasts into the heart of the forest. Her journey has also seen her contributing significantly to the creation of the book "Tigers of Tadoba Volume 2" as she took the role of the Co-author of the book.

 

What sets Mahek apart is her unique ability to captivate the hearts and minds of the youngest explorers. With boundless patience and a wealth of knowledge, she imparts wisdom to inquisitive young minds teaching them about the captivating world of animals and the mesmerizing forest that surrounds them.
